Gir Cow’s Desi Pure Ghee is made from A2 milk of Gir Cows which are grass fed freely on natural farms and not cross breeded. These cows grazing freely on farms in sunshine and their hump absorb sunlight during the day period. After this exposure and exercise, milk is removed in the evening by hands after the share of calf then the milk is directly boiled in clay pot over fire wood without any other process, converted it into curd and then the curd is churned by hand process with wood stick (called bilona method) to get butter (makhan) which is melted on fire wood and then get this pure desi cow A2 Ghee. Desi Cow ghee melting point is 37 degree celsius and human body temperature is 37.2 degree celsius. This is only the ghee that melts below human body temperature while all other ghee melts at 40 degree celsius.
Ghee made from milk which contains only A2 beta casein (protein) is called A2 ghee and which contains only A1 beta casein or both A1 and A2 beta casein is called A1 ghee. Only some native Indian breeds have A2 beta casein in their milk where as in India all commercial dairy products have A1 beta casein due to foreign breed and cross breed cows. This A2 cultured desi ghee is made by the Ayurvedic churned (Bilona) method at our organic certified Trueway farms. 30 Kg of curd is used to make 1 Kg of A2 cultured desi ghee and the curd is prepared specifically from the Gir Cow A2 milk.
